Distorted Reflections

A Stargate SG-1 fanfiction novel by lizardbeth_j and Lori Wright

While searching for the Lost City, SG-1 is trapped on a strange and frightening alternate Earth. Fifteen years ago a plague decimated the Earth, killing the adults and leaving the children to fend for themselves. Now those children have grown up, and a war is brewing over who will control the future. Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c find that they must fight, risking everything, if they hope to find a way home.

This is a crossover with the t.v. series Jeremiah; however, no knowledge of that series is necessary.

Rated R for adult situations, violence, and language

Features the entire season 7 team, including Jack, as well as many SG-1 characters in an alternate form, and all of the characters of Jeremiah.

I've always thought there should be a cross over with SGA. They're in the same place at almost the same time!

It was a natural crossover, definitely. And while we had to ignore a few details (in Jeremiah; there's nothing canon to SG-1 that we changed), generally the universes mesh together pretty well. Some of the sticky places turned into minor plot points, which were fun to solve.

So how many chapters are there, total? I'd like to save the whole shebang as a PDF and load it into my new toy (I got a PalmOne Tungsten E2 on eBay for $76... *whee*). :)

*looks shifty, whispers* 43. Did I mention it was long? :D

We will have a doc/zip file of the whole thing, for the people who want to read it that way. Not sure when - our committee of two has a hard time figuring this stuff out. But a request for one helps. :)

Hee. Yes, you mentioned it was long. *looks at the over 200 pages already loaded* I guess you meant very long. :P

Consider this an official request for the whole deal in one swell foop. I've never seen Jeremiah, but it's maybe even better that I haven't, since there's none of that nasty canon to worry about. ;)

I've just discovered this and started reading! These shows are absolutely made for each other! (Or maybe I'm just amused by the thought of Luke Perry on a gate team.)

I'm looking forward to reading it -- thank you for writing :)

ZOMG, you know Jeremiah??? *stunned* YAY

Well, enjoy, and let us know how it goes! :)

Yes! I loved that show. I'm a JMS fan from way back & was part of the Save Jeremiah campaign and everything.

seriously? B5, too? I think my only Jeremiah fan contact was at the Abyss boards, but I wrote B5 fanfic back in the old list days.

Yes! I loved B5 and was quite obsessed with it for a while. Can you imagine what it would look like and sound like and be like if it was made today? It would be so awesome!

Do you mean the Abyss boards run by Lyta? If so, I was Channe there. :)

DUDE! yes. I remember your name! (I think I was Liz or Eliz, but I don't even remember. lol.) I stopped going when the rest of the world got the back half of S2, and I didn't know how to dl back then.

I didn't, either; I didn't even know you could. Hell, I was still using my VCR to tape things. :)
